Permit of sikkim

How to get permit of                   sikkim

To visit Sikkim, Indian citizens need to obtain a permit called the Inner Line Permit (ILP), while foreign nationals require a Restricted Area Permit (RAP). The process of obtaining the permit is as follows:

• Apply for the permit: The permit can be obtained online or offline. For online applications, you need to visit the official website of the Sikkim government's tourism department, fill out the application form and upload the required documents. For offline applications, you need to visit the Sikkim Tourism office or any Sikkim House in major cities such as Delhi, Kolkata, or Siliguri.

Required documents: The required documents include a valid government-issued photo ID proof, such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, or Passport, two passport size photographs, and a copy of the itinerary.

Pay the fees: The permit fees vary depending on the duration of your stay in Sikkim. The fee for a 15-day permit is Rs. 550, while the fee for a 30-day permit is Rs. 900. You can pay the fee online or offline as per your convenience.

Receive the permit: Once you have submitted the application and paid the fee, the permit will be processed within a few days. You can collect the permit from the Sikkim Tourism office or Sikkim House in your city.

It is important to note that the permit is valid for a specific period and cannot be extended beyond the validity period. You need to apply for a new permit if you wish to stay in Sikkim beyond the permit's validity period
